A nightmare begins when a kind-hearted, naive college student encounters a beautiful yet hopelessly drunk young woman who later becomes his sassy girlfriend. With violent punches and bizarre antics, she humiliates him in every possible way, at every turn. Yet he still believes in an undercurrent of genuine goodness beneath her chaotic exterior. Once the highest-grossing comedy of its time in Korea, My Sassy Girl sees Jeon Ji-hyun, fresh off the breakout success of Il Mare, delivers a star-making performance.
